A DEATH OF A MAN BY A SCRABBLE
From the story of Death by Scrabble written by Charlie Fish, we would know that the story involves the conflict between the husband and the wife. If you read it, it is only involved the playing of the Scrabble between both of them. The husband kept on playing the Scrabble and hated his wife every single day. But if you realize, why the husband kept on playing the Scrabble with her eventhough he hated her so much?
Based on the literature, we can prove that both of them really hate each other. However, the husband still playing the Scrabble everyday with her wife. Why? Thus, we are going to discuss on what are the causes and the effects of the husband kept on playing the Scrabble. The three reasons why the husband still playing the Scrabble are he is a coward, he wants his wife to die and his wife is a queen control.
As you can see, the husband really hates his wife. But why he still plays the game of Scrabble? First reason is he is a coward. He is coward enough to not to say anything against his wife. He should say that he is not comfortable to have a life with her, and thus he should divorce her. But he is not. Next, he wants his wife to die. By playing the Scrabble, every word he plays, it come true! So we can conclude that he still play the game because he will play the word 'DEATH' to end his wife's life. Moreover, his wife is a queen control. She did not let his husband to do what he wants. From the story, we can see that his husband wants to meet people and spending some money.
Furthermore, the effect of playing the Scrabble between the husband and the wife is extraordinary thing happened during the game is played. Next, the husband cheated himself and karma happened. At last, he got chocked by the tile and end up dying with no one came to help, even his wife.
Conclusion, the husband kept on playing the Scrabble because he wanted his wife to die. But at the end, his bad intention got himself and he was the one who was dying.
