50 UTP Students Got Caught With Alcoholic Drinkings And Drugs

Tronoh,Perak-6th February 2013: The University Of Technology Petronas, one of the top most ranked universities in Malaysia, located 200km from the city of Kuala Lumpur is shocked by the news they received from the head of the police department in Tronoh,Perak. It was reported that 50 of the UTP students had been caught with alcoholic drinkings and drugs in one of the illegal night clubs located near Medan Gopeng,bus station nearly 2 days ago.

The students consisted of 30 male students and 20 female students, mostly were having their late night party at Mannie's Cub without realizing the presence of police checked-up in the premise. Few pf the students were caught while they were highly unconscious due to the excessive intake of heroine. Inspector Rahman Yaakob, one of the police officer who was in charge of the police checked-up at Mannie's Club stated that most of the students had been involved in theise illegal activities for approximately 2 years.

On top of that, most of them are in their Final Year studies in UTP and 20 of them are in the Dean's List. The Student Representative of UTP who is absolutely taken aback by this shocking news said that there will be no tolerance in dealing with these kind of cases and the students involved will be forbidden from taking their final exam due to their involvement in these illegal activities.
