Effective Ways of Preventing Arising Social Problem Among Youngsters

Do you know the statistics of youngsters has highly arose almost 45% for the last 5 years? Social problem among youngsters have been relatively common especially around the campus or even in high schools where they are out of their parent's sight of views. To prevent the social problem from getting worse, effective ways and serious action should be taken such as high parenting skills, community cooperation and the role of laws by the government.

High parenting skill is one of the main ways which can prevent the arising social problem among youngsters.

The Minister of Women and Children Department, Datuk Syahrizat has said in her speech during the All Women Conference in Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC) that almost 80% of social problem involving youth started in their own house. With proper parenting skill, the children will get the right education and moral values in the inner side of them which will lead to a good attitude in youth. By being a great role model for the children, they will learn to behave well and in a proper way. So, it's true that high parenting skills can reduce the social problem among youngsters.

On top of that, the community in that particular area has to give high cooperation in handling any arising social problem there.For instance, when there were any crime such as robbery in the neighborhood , all of the community has to be in charged and the youth involved in the crime has to be send to the higher person in charge for judgement. By this way, the area would be highly secured and all the community can live in peace without any disturbance and therefore, will reduce the social problem among youngsters.

Besides that, The government has to tightened the role of the rules and punishment that would be charged for the problem involving adolescence. Research made stated that almost 70% of the youngsters dared to go against the rule since the punishment given are too loose. As for example, they were only being fined RM200 for crime involving vandalism. This is not a good method of teaching them since money could not solve the bad attitude of the youth. Instead, moral classes should be given to the youngsters with social problem so that they'll learn to be a better person in the future.

Thus, it is the responsibilities of all the society to take actions in order to prevent this problem from getting worse day by day. Without any efforts from all the responsible community, this problem would not come to an end. So, I hope one day, Malaysia could be a country where it is being respected by all the worldwide nations for its low statistics of social problem involving youngsters.
